These Terms of Service govern your use of the Vorynza platform. Please read them carefully before creating an account.

Acceptance of terms
- By creating a Vorynza account or using any Vorynza service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Vorynza.
- If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
- We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

The service
- Vorynza provides managed PostgreSQL database hosting. We provision, monitor, back up, and manage database infrastructure on your behalf.
- Vorynza is a platform, not a raw infrastructure provider. We make architectural decisions about the underlying infrastructure to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
- We do not guarantee service availability during trial periods. Production SLAs apply to paid plans only.
- Service features, pricing, and availability may change. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You may not share account credentials with others. Each user must have their own account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We may suspend accounts with false information.
- One free trial is permitted per organization. Attempting to circumvent this limit is a violation of these terms.

Acceptable use
- You may use Vorynza to store and query data for lawful purposes.
- You may not use Vorynza to store illegal content, child sexual abuse material, or data obtained without authorization.
- You may not use Vorynza databases for sustained cryptomining, DDoS attacks, bulk spam operations, or any activity that degrades service for other customers.
- Shared plans are intended for normal application workloads. Sustained high-CPU workloads may result in a required upgrade or service suspension with notice.
- You may not attempt to access other customers' databases, exploit the Vorynza platform, or reverse-engineer our infrastructure.

Billing and payment
- Vorynza charges in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via Paystack. Prices are as published at vorynza.cloud/pricing.
- Monthly plans are billed at the start of each billing cycle. Annual plans are billed upfront.
- If payment fails, we will retry over 3 days. After 7 days without payment, services may be suspended.
- Suspended services are retained for 30 days. After that, we may permanently delete the database and its data.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@vorynza.cloud for refund requests.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing annual subscribers are not affected until renewal.

Your data
- Data you store in Vorynza databases belongs to you. Vorynza claims no ownership over your data.
- You grant Vorynza permission to access your database infrastructure as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of Vorynza complies with applicable data protection laws, including NDPR and GDPR where applicable.
- You are responsible for backing up data beyond the retention period included in your plan. We provide tools to export your data at any time.

Service availability
- Vorynza targets 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans. This excludes scheduled maintenance windows, which are announced at least 24 hours in advance.
- In the event of extended downtime beyond our SLA, we may offer account credits. We are not liable for indirect losses resulting from downtime.
- Planned maintenance is scheduled during low-traffic windows. We aim to complete maintenance without data loss or connection string changes.

Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. Your services will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment after due notice.
- On termination, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your data before deletion.

Limitation of liability
- Vorynza provides the service "as is." We make no warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted service.
- Vorynza's total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or data loss beyond the amounts covered by our backup policy.

Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law.
